Nearby is Dublin's peer-to-peer rental marketplace. Borrow what you need from people in your neighbourhood, or lend what you don't use and earn from it.

Search by item or browse categories. Everything's local, from neighbours across Dublin.

Book & pay securely
Request your dates. Pay securely through Stripe when the lender accepts. If the lender cancels or the item isn't handed over, you get a full refund.

Collect & enjoy
Meet your neighbour, grab the item, and get on with your day. Return it when you're done.

Review & repeat
Leave a review, build your reputation. The more you share, the stronger your neighbourhood gets.
Lending
- 01
List your item
Add photos, a description and your daily price. There are no listing fees and no monthly subscription.
- 02
Accept a booking
Neighbours request the dates they need. Review their profile, then accept or decline within 24 hours.
- 03
Hand it over
Meet the borrower somewhere convenient and walk them through the item. It is worth taking a few photos of its condition at pickup and return.
- 04
Get paid
You keep 88% of your listed price. Your earnings reach your Stripe account when the borrower pays, and Stripe pays them to your bank on your payout schedule.
The Nearby Guarantee
- Included with every rental at no extra cost. There are no paid tiers and no add-on at checkout.
- If a rented item is accidentally damaged or stolen during the rental, Nearby may, at its discretion, make a goodwill payment to the lender of up to €2,000 per item.
- Members may send their own photos of the item's condition as evidence with a claim.
